It matters to you why she posts about how many pillows her husband sleeps with..  Why?  It's not like she is pulling in information about another person's husband - irrelevent to any topic on hand - and posting it here.

I don't mind the classics, Bord. But I've never quite forgotten Pastor's warning about Harry Potter when it came out. From the devil, he said. Since our co op is through our church, it's pretty easy to keep a lid on the kids' media usage. My kids don't know about Harry Potter. And I prefer older children's lit: the Bobbsey Twins, The Boxcar Kids, Nancy Drew--the true classics. The girls like American Girl dolls, but I limit them to the historical characters, not the dolls of the year or the just like me dolls. I think the historical lessons were acceptable with the historical dolls.

Mrs Norris, Curious, do you keep your darlings away from all forms of kiddie it (such as classic fairy tales ) that feature wizards and witches, or is it just Harry Potter that you object to?

While many of my faith would disagree, I am so glad to see the end of DOMA. I believe in true equality for all, which is what Jesus was really about.

That is gorgeous! I don't quilt, although I would love to learn someday.

1. No real plans for the weekend outside of our normal routine. 2. Have read the entire Harry Potter series numerous times. Genius. Have seen all the movies as well. No interest in the amusement park stuff. 3. One in the bed, two on the couch.

It's great that your girls are sewing.  I've loved sewing since I was a little girl, too, but I don't do much garment sewing these days.  Mostly I piece quilts; my latest is a cute little dog quilt for my DIL's sister's baby.  It's just about done; I need to finish the quilting on the border.

Why do you get a say in how many pillows your dh sleeps with?

lol. He would have a ton of them and leave no room for me to even sleep. He actually had one of those body pillows years ago but didn't care for it too much and went back to the regular pillows.
