Or has my kids call it, TBT Lol.

What favorite memory do you have about childhood?

Did you have a job in high school?

What dreams did you have as a child and are you living them now?

The annual end of school trip when I was in kindergarten was to take the train to Canada.  While there we went to a nursery where we bought flowers for our mothers. I was so exceited to be able to buy my mom a present.

It was very part time and worked from home, typing.

Wife and mother.   The job that I have was not even on my radar as a  child.

What favorite memory do you have about childhood?

So many, hard to pinpoint one. Maybe going to go visit my grandparents and getting to sleep on bunk beds.

Did you have a job in high school?

I had one for four months in my senior year. That is where I met my dh Laughing

What dreams did you have as a child and are you living them now?

Having a family and a home which I am living that now

What favorite memory do you have about childhood? -- Oh so many.  I'll share this one: I used to pretend to fall asleep on the floor/couch downstairs ... so that my dad would carry me up stair to bed and tuck me in.  I found out many years later that he always knew I was faking.

Did you have a job in high school? -- Yes, I worked at my parents' movie theatre.

What dreams did you have as a child and are you living them now?] -- Nothing that really stands out - well, nothing serious. The usual childhood fantasies of being a movie star or rock star.

Playing, especially in the summer.  We were gone from morning to evening most days.

Yes.

I wanted to be a parent and yes, I am a parent.

1. Going to visit my father's people in the summers. Like most military families we moved around a lot, but we almost always got to spend two-three weeks every summer back in North Carolina with all the clan. It feels like home to me even though I never actually lived there. 2. I've been a working girl for all but five months since I was eleven years old. 3. I think I only knew about three jobs for women when I was small: teacher, nurse, or secretary. I imagined being a nurse or a teacher, but never a secretary. I didn't know about the job I have now, but if I had have, I would have imagined it, too. I always loved history and visiting museums and historical sites. I always knew I wanted kids, so glad that happened. Good questions!

I've got a lot of great memories but one that stands out (esp b/c it's getting warmer) are the days at the pool, We seriously lived there, Lol.  My first job was at a local pizzeria, I also babysat a lot from the age of 12 or 13 through college.  My dream as a teenager was to be an artist in NYC even if it meant starving for it, I still have an appreciation for art/artists and that city but the older I got the the more I searched the big picture and purpose became more about working with people and helping others and I am lucky I get to do that.  I also always wanted to be a mother, I know sappy, but I have three great kids and I am an awful proud mom of each one of them.

You mean with a typewriter?

My first co-op job in college was typesetting, Can I just tell you that is almost unheard of nowadays, Gotta love the 1980s!

I think I went through a short phase of wanting to be a school teacher as a kid, One Christmas I got this green chalkboard that was as tall as me and I'd play teacher, The flip side of it was black.  I lvoed that thing!
