liberal or conservative?
i consider myself financially conservative but liberal
liberal or conservative?
A bit of both depending on the issue. I think that many people think that I am more conservative than I am.
saver or spender?
Saver. Although DH and I have been a good influence on each other. He has learned that saving is a good thing. I have learned that it alright to spend once in awhile.
one thing ( or go ahead, share a couple ) you waste money on ?
Magazines (but I am proud of myself, I usually hit the magazine stand at the airport when I fly but I have been saving the magazines that I subscribe for the last couple months for my trip at the end of the month. Chocolate covered almonds.
liberal or conservative? liberal religiously and politically, conservative personally and fiscally.
saver or spender? saver, but will spend for quality.
one thing ( or go ahead, share a couple ) you waste money on? We are mindful spenders, so I don't think I really "waste" money. I am sure there are people who would *choose* differently. I would rather pay more for something to support a local business, I buy (as much as possible) local, sustainable, fresh, unprocessed food, a cleaning lady.... None of which is wasteful in my life.
Just about everyone is liberal when it comes to the government investing money on causes they personally think are worthwhile or that will benefit them personally. I consider myself a moderate but probably fall more on the liberal side than the conservative side.
We used to be really big savers but as time has gone on and we have found ourselves in a more comfortable position financially we have loosened up some on our spending.
I don't really think I waste money because if I buy something I will use and enjoy how is that a waste? I am willing to spend money on books I could get from the library, eating out on Sunday afternoons with friends after church, getting the dog groomed rather than doing it myself, travel, sometimes having a yard guy come in and do somehing like dig out a new flower bed rather than doing it myself, things like that.
" I think that many people think that I am more conservative than I am." same here. I think it is because my personal choices have been perceived as more "conservative".
DH and I are both savers and we have to budget to spend money-once in a while.
FYI, spending money on chocolate is NEVER wasted.

i don't know, there's alot i object to that the government does but i'm not a tea party picketer, either, shrug.
Like I said, different people make different choices. FTR, my cleaning lady does a *better* job than me and I really can't stand to clean bathrooms. Plus, I get headaches from the fumes (even the green ones). So, for us, it isn't a waste of money.
Since the beginning of April, my family has eaten all of its salad out of our garden. So, for us, it would be wasting money to buy salad greens at the store. I like to grow food and can't see paying someone else to grow something I can do myself.
So you can clean, someone else can paint, and I can grow food and we are all happy with our choices.
