1. Do you keep up with celebrity news (watch it on TV, read it online, read newspaper or magazines)?

2. What are you wearing today?

3. College-did you go? Did you stay home, go away? Did/does/will your children stay home or go away?

Heaven knows that neither one of you have ever hit below the belt...<snort> FTR I'd bet my retirement funds that Bord is absolutely right.

On Wednesdays we wear pink.

I don't believe your children know her.  IF they did, you'd be front and center on every tabloid show ever made hawking whatever inside scoop you had to whomever would pay you.

I think it far more likely that they have seen some of her shows and would recognize her picture on the cover of World New Daily when you bring it home with your Ho-Ho's and other essential groceries.

We also talked about an unfortunate case in a semi-local hospital where a man is being kept from his dying husband's bedside despite having power-of-attorney, etc, because the dying man's family does not recognize their marriage.

I read about that today. Makes me sick. Sick.

I don't have an oldest, just an older. Right now his major is undeclared. One day it's English. The Journalism. Now, maybe marketing..

So he really doesn't know what he wants to major in, in his 2nd year of college? Does he go to a community college and just trying different things each year? I am so dumb but I knew what I was going for in my 2nd year and still to this day do the same type of work. Shrug.

I don't really consider 21 year old announcement of an illness of an actress from 50 years ago to be all that topical.  And she only came forward then to combat rumors (by the same craptastical tabloids you insist we should be following) that she was an alcoholic.  And frankly, I find that both shocking (on the part of the tabloids and the vultures who support them by reading their trash), and obscene, that her medical privacy had to be violated in order to keep people like you from gossiping about an alcohol addiction she didn't have.

Ummm...I never gossiped about any type of alcohol addiction she did or did not have. I also never talked about her but I DID know years ago about her MS and coma.

Well, if I interpreted what you said incorrectly, I apologize. What DID you mean, then?

Since your children are smarter then me, you can go and ask them Laughing

He doesn't go to a community college. And it's really not unusual for a college kid to change majors, even several times. I'm sending the kid to college for an education, not vocational training.

Know OF her, I don't buy tabloid papers and that would be Twinkies, not Ho-Ho's ;)
