1. Do you keep up with celebrity news (watch it on TV, read it online, read newspaper or magazines)?

2. What are you wearing today?

3. College-did you go? Did you stay home, go away? Did/does/will your children stay home or go away?

You didn't say you only talk about Karsashian trash, but you said you were informed about "everything" that's going on. I brought up your cluelessness about Les Mis to illustrate that you seem better informed about gossip than other aspects of culture. You're obviously not keeping p with "everything." No one can.

No, the luncheon included people of all ages from 18 to over 70. A few historians, but not many. I was seated next to a woman in her forties who works as a dental assistant and a student who is graduating with a degree in political science and heading to law school next year.

Very nice. You know everyone's conversation at this luncheon too?

You have argued that you think it is necessary for well rounded conversations. Bord and I simply disagree.

On Wednesdays we wear pink.

No, I knew there was a "Les Mis" but no, I had not gone to it or read the book. No, no one can keep up with everything but I think I do pretty good with what is going on in my town, state, country and world.

1. Tangentially, but not really.  I don't care, but I have friends on FB who do, so what I know I usually get through them.

2.  When I got home this morning, I was wearing a polo shirt with capris, and sandals.  Right now I'm still in jammies, because I haven't committed to being awake just yet.

3.  College.  Went, sort of.  I have 2 years between actual classroom time and my language school credits, but it was community college.  John was preschool aged when I started.   He's got a few less credits than I have from community college.

No, just the fact that I had a very nice time talking with a variety of people, eight at my table plus the ones I spoke to before we were seated, and did not need to have a lot of sleazy gossip at my beck and call to have pleasant conversations with a variety of people.
