I buy People magazine every now and then, I used to watch entertainment tonight pretty regularly but got hooked on the Wheel of Fortune/Jeopardy hour which starts at the same time.

A lime green ribbed crewneck, blue jeans, sneakers.

I stayed at home and commuted, I took a year off b/w graduating hs and starting college.  I want my kids to chose the best direction for themselves, DD2 is more adventurous than DD1 so I can see her moving away more than her older sister, DS is too young to tell.

1. Do you keep up with celebrity news (watch it on TV, read it online, read newspaper or magazines)? If I read the Herald Tribune, I will read their gossip column, which is very modest in size. Once in a while I will gorge on the Daily Fail for a half hour or so. I usually skip the people who are only famous for being famous, ditto for people who are only known because they were on some talent or reality show or people who are in sports. Sports bore me to tears.

2. What are you wearing today? Slim jeans, blue T with assymmetrical neckline. I will put on something slightly dressier for dinner.

3. College-did you go? Did you stay home, go away? Did/does/will your children stay home or go away? Yes, I went. Did not stay home, but I left home at 18, and I had not finished HS by then, so I didn't even stay home for the last year of HS. Kiddo is in her 3rd year of college and she is not living at home. In fact, she is in another country.

1.) celebrity news ~ only if see something juicy while I'm on the computer.  I still follow Tom Cruise, a crazy old guy.  But cute. ;)

2.) I'm wearing jeans, t-shirt and slippers.

3.)  I went away for college.  My children WILL be going away for college, lol.  The college experience is different when they live away.

I don't go out of my way to "keep up" with news of people I've never met. I know the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge are expecting a baby, just heard Halle Berry is too...but I didn't participate in the other thread because I don't know who Amanda Bynes is and didn't feel like googling her...I've gone 40+ years without knowing that info, so I guess I'm good. lol

2. What are you wearing today?

Navy pants and comfy shoes, white top

3. College-did you go? Did you stay home, go away? Did/does/will your children stay home or go away?

Yes, away, and no idea yet bc they are so young. My son says he wants to go to our local college because the dorms look really cool from the street. LOL!

Shaking my head at the things grown women get their panties in a wad about.

3. College-did you go? Did you stay home, go away? Did/does/will your children stay home or go away?

Not really.  I hear tidbits here and there but I don't actively seek it out.

2. What are you wearing today?

Black capris, salmon t-shirt, black and gray sandals.  It's summer here this week.  :)

3. College-did you go? Did you stay home, go away? Did/does/will your children stay home or go away?

I went to college but didn't finish.  I stayed at home.  My son started classes at a community college, with the intent of transferring to a university once he finishes.  Now he's reconsidering his major and working a lot, so he's slowed his school schedule down until he makes a decision.

Occasionally read US Weekly or People on the elliptical at the gym. I don't watch it on tv b/c I don't watch much tv.

2. What are you wearing today?

Right now I'm wearing workout pants, a t-shirt & a hoodie. Eventually I'll change into jeans and a sweater...but for now I'm in my workout gear, post-workout.

3. College-did you go? Did you stay home, go away? Did/does/will your children stay home or go away?

I went away, about 80 miles from home. As did DH. I think college is an experience. Separating from your parents and going away is part of that experience. My two are still in elementary school, but at the moment, I'd tell you that they'll go away. Even if they go somewhere local (DS has his eye on a local school and DD claims she's attending my alma mater, but you know, she's five so I take that w/a grain of salt), they'll live on campus. To me, that is a crucial part of the experience.

On Wednesdays we wear pink.

I agree with Regina (and I think thardy?) even if my kids stay in the area for college, I want them to live on campus, part of the experience.

I see some by virtue of social media but I don't watch shows like ET or Watch E! unless its for the red carpet arrivals at the Oscars.. and I don't read celebrity magazines.. (now that my dd is out of braces I don't even read them in the ortho's office anymore)

2. What are you wearing today?

long gray knit skirt from the Gap with Grayand black leopard print cardigan with gray cami underneath and black boots

3. College-did you go? Did you stay home, go away? Did/does/will your children stay home or go away?

I went away to college and hope my dd will too... that's the plan anyway... ;-)
