1. Do you keep up with celebrity news (watch it on TV, read it online, read newspaper or magazines)?

2. What are you wearing today?

3. College-did you go? Did you stay home, go away? Did/does/will your children stay home or go away?

Why did I ask what your B.A. was in? Curiosity, I guess. Small talk. If you want to keep it a secret, that's fine, too.

Have you not been following the thread? Small talk can only be about pregnant, dead, alcohol abusing, or naked celebrities! Geez!

Apropos of the gossip thread, here's what Victor Hugo had to say about the women who worked with Fantine: "There are always those who, to solve one of these enigmas, which are completely irrelevant to them, spend more money, waste more time, and give themselves more trouble than ten good deeds would take -- and they do it for the pleasure of it, without being paid for their curiosity in any other way than with more curiosity. They will follow this man or that woman all day long, stand guard for hours at street corners, under the entrance of a passageway, at night, in the cold, in the rain, bribe messengers, get carriage drivers and lackeys drunk, pay a chambermaid or bribe a porter. For what? For nothing. Pure craving to see, to know, to find out. Pure itching for scandal. And often when these secrets are made known, these mysteries published, these enigmas brought to the light of day, they lead to catastrophes, duels, failures, the ruin of families, and make lives miserable, to the great joy of those who "discovered all" without any ulterior motive, from pure instinct. A sad thing."

PKA the "newest" hairspray movie came out in like 2005  or 2006 or something.. so you know it's not exactly groundbreaking.    It was ok.. the show is better.  no one can replace Harvey Fierstein as mama.. or Dick Latessa as the dad.. but it was ok...

but seriously counting Down til 'Into Darkness" can't wait!

Hairspray is a movie.  It's been filmed twice; first in 1988 with Ricki Lake as the lead and Divine played her Mom.  It was remade in 2007.  John Travolta played the role previously filled by Divine.

Hairspray is one of numerous brilliant screenplays by John Waters, all of which take place in Baltimore.

<<Nah....that is not something I would have ran to, to see. It has been off Broadway for awhile and it was much easier (and cheaper) to see the movie. It is coming back next year but I am sure there will be a huge waiting list.>>

It's good, I saw it live in London almost 20 years ago.  You really had never heard of it until the movie last year?

I actually don't know what she majored in, either. Or what type of degree she's earned.

<<Regina---Annette Funicello's death was tabloid trash? Sorry you feel that way as TMZ was the first place I saw it last week when she passed. >>

That's the first place "you" saw it, doesn't mean that was the first place anyone else that particular piece of news and that doesn't mean that even the tabloid/celebrity news doesn't post some facts now and again.
