Manicured or could you care less what your yard looks like?

What kind of dresser are you - classy, trendy, bold or combination/no one particular style?

Cook in/grill out or go out on a scorching hot day?

Shall we take a poll among the menfolk re: rocking maxis?

Ick, no.  (not that I like maxi dresses) You care what men like when choosing your wardrobe?

I don't necessarily care what men in general like when choosing my wardrobe, but I've never kept anything I've bought that my husband found unattractive, particularly dressy stuff, because 50% of the time or more, when I'm dressing up for a function he is with me, and why would I want to wear something he doesn't like?

My only problem is that I tend to trip in the hem and since I walk dogs and generally walk a lot and fast, that ends up being tricky.

Why invest in a couple of dresses, no matter what the price, unless you're going to get them tailored (read: hemmed) properly when you can't wear them around?  What is that ~ $10 a hem.  That sounds lazy to me.

Good girl.  Hell will freeze over before I let my dh, heck any man, dictate what I wear.  Not even Zac posen!

The fitness craze passed through my neck of the woods and I waved at it and had another glass of wine :-)

I wear alot of long skirts but none that fitted- more A-line type stuff - in the winter I wear them with tall boots in the summer with sandals - but none so long they touch the top of my feet-- at 5'10 the 'maxi' stuff looks like normal stuff on me.. I don't wear maxi dresses b/c I have hips rougly as wide as a football field and it's a most unfortunate look on me but I love them on very thin women like Rollmops who can carry them off.

When i'm not at work I wear alot of cargo shorts and tank tops ...are we remotely surpised ? LOL

I agree.  I mean, sometimes we've got to crack open our wallet.  And it's comparatively not expensive.  I try to invest in pieces, although I know myself.  That color is gorgeous but would be a one season wear for me and my messy self!

Size as in weight or height bord?  I see those free, swing skirt style maxis on college campuses a lot, Some even pair them up with birkenstocks.  The Woodstock look perhaps, Lol.

Yes, the skirt was like 60% off, I probably still wouldn't pay that marked price but I do spend good money for a few of her pieces (Donna Karan).  I'd watch it for more markdowns if it came in my size but I think that only size left was L.

Because it's 2013.
