1. What kind of shoes are you wearing today? (in a shoe mood as I just saw a fabulous pair of heels someone was wearing lol)

2. Favorite Salad Dressing?

3. Plans for the weekend?

Your dressing sounds good. I have pretty much given up on salad dressings. At first I hated eating dry greens, but I have actually come to like it okay. But a little olive oil and lemon juice and herbs sounds nice.

"which means fat free dressing isn't the good option you think it is" I just always wonder what on earth they put in that stuff if it doesn't have any fat. If you want a low-fat dressing you can always use balsamic vinegar. It does not need much oil.

Plain black flat work shoes.. I'm so not a shoe person... although I did just get a great pair of knee high boots to wear under my long skirts..and I quite like those.

My favorite salad dressing is a fresh, not too heavy caesar

Weekend plans - birthday weekend for me! Trip out of town to see a wonderful play, stay in a favorite hotel and enjoy a wonderful bday dinner with my dear one and my best college friends, and probably drink a whole. lot. of. wine.

Bord, no reason to have it completely dry. Even lemon all by itself is pretty nice, although I think it is nicer with a little olive oil as well. I actually lost about 25 lbs last year and although the weird chemicals probably did their part, it was mostly from making a few fairly minor adjustments to my diet.

So--how much mustard, cider & preserves? That sounds AMAZING. During the holidays I was on a brie en croute kick, using apricot preserves. So. Good. But not so good for my butt when eaten weekly.

It is amazing :) It's actually a Pampered Chef recipe out of the "Dinner in 29 minutes" cookbook--the first one.

 • 1/4 C peach preserves (but like I said, I use apricot)
 • 2 TBL prepared stone ground mustard
 • 1 tsp cider vinegar
 • 1/4 tsp salt
 • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
 • 1 garlic clove, pressed
 • 2 TBL vegetable oil (I use extra virgin olive oil--I don't find it harms the flavor)

Mix it all up--I use one of those little blender machines and it works out great in there--just toss everything in and blend for a few seconds. Totes delish, especially on baby greens :)

Italian. I like 1000island and french too.

DD1 has a horse show on sunday, I don't know about Sat.

thank you my friend! I am very much looking forward to it! Seeing a production of "The Glass Menagerie" with Cherry Jones and Zachary Quinto that is getting rave reviews... can't wait!

Sounds great. I am trying to find a day to sneak out to see "A Royal Affair" since it is Danish and deals with a piece of Danish history that fascinated me from childhood.
