I don't buy anything anymore that is processed fat free, some stuff is naturally fat free of course.

Rollmops I'm with you, I love a good homemade dressing.  I tend to make more of them in the summer but we tend to eat more salads in the summer.

1. black knee high boots - this pair

2. oh my favorite dressing really varies depending on what is in the salad (or sandwich) and what mood I'm in.  One of my current faves is Ken's Steakhouse Lite Caesar.  My local Italian place has a fabulous White Wine Basil Vinaigrette.

3. Not much plans. Zumba on sat morn.  The Kids are both gone to a band contest all day Saturday, so dh and I are thinking of going to the movies.  I'll go for a long run on Sunday.  I think The Girl has to work Sunday.   We'll need to take The Boy bowling since he'll miss his Saturday league.

Sounds great. I am trying to find a day to sneak out to see "A Royal Affair" since it is Danish and deals with a piece of Danish history that fascinated me from childhood.

thank you my friend! I am very much looking forward to it!  Seeing a production of "The Glass Menagerie" with Cherry Jones and Zachary Quinto that is getting rave reviews... can't wait!

Sneakers.  I know what you mean about shoe moods, I bought a pair of boots on ebay the other day but I may give them to DD1 b/c they're not what I expected and she loves them, Lol.

Italian.  I like 1000island and french too.

DD1 has a horse show on sunday, I don't know about Sat.

It is amazing :)  It's actually a Pampered Chef recipe out of the "Dinner in 29 minutes" cookbook--the first one.

  • 1/4 C peach preserves (but like I said, I use apricot)
  • 2 TBL prepared stone ground mustard
  • 1 tsp cider vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 garlic clove, pressed
  • 2 TBL vegetable oil (I use extra virgin olive oil--I don't find it harms the flavor)

Mix it all up--I use one of those little blender machines and it works out great in there--just toss everything in and blend for a few seconds. Totes delish, especially on baby greens :)
