1. When you go out with friends, what is your favorite drink (alcoholic or non).

2. How often do you go out socially?

3. Have you changed your eating habit in the last year or two?

1.  Water or diet cola.

2.   Wow for some reason this seemed hard.  When I added it all up it was higher than I thought.  It seems to go in streaks but probably works out to about 45-60 times per year with someone other than just my DH alone.  With  just DH probably another 2-3 times per month.

3.  No.

Rum and coke usually, although recently I've found I like a mojito.

Not often enough.

3. Have you changed your eating habit in the last year or two?

Not really, we have been adding more and more unprocessed, local stuff to our diet, but that has been ongoing-- and we still have a long way to go.

3. Have you changed your eating habit in the last year or two? -- not really.

The dirtier the martini, the better. Although always a gin martini, never vodka.

Love olives, so does DS. He'll eat a jar of them at a time...

On Wednesdays we wear pink.

1. When you go out with friends, what is your favorite drink (alcoholic or non)?  Depends on the occasion and the weather.  During the winter, I typically drink red wine.  In the summer, I like beer and margaritas.

2. How often do you go out socially?  Several times a month if you count going to other people's houses for dinner.  We probably go out out (like to dinner, drinks, adult engagement) every six weeks or so.  I occasionally have lunch with dh, my mom, and girlfriends during the week.

3. Have you changed your eating habit in the last year or two?  Not particularly.  We've cut back a little on carbs but not totally, mainly we don't eat pasta or potatoes as often.  Because I run and exercise regularly, I can't (nor do I want to) stop eating them at all.  We have a pretty healthy diet in general so haven't changed it otherwise.

What does everyone consider social as I only consider going out with friends? Not with coworkers to lunch or my husband and family.

I decided not to include semi-social events that are obligatory for work, such as going to a student's graduation party, or taking my secretary out to lunch for Administrative Professionals Day, or taking my grad students to dinner at a conference.I did include events with the family or certain members of the family, such as going out to dinner together or out with another family for lunch after church on Sunday.  I might not have included those when our son lived with us, but not that he's on his own, it feels "special" to go to lunch or dinner with him.

Oh ok, I wouldn't consider going out with my family as going out "socially". I only consider friends and maybe co-workers if we went out after work to a bar, restaurant, movie, etc., not lunch on a work day.

I think of it as meeting up with friends out for dinner or drinks or having people to the house or going to someone's house -- not just the two of us or the 3 of us going out as that's family /couple time-- however there is that gray area when the two ofus will go to a 'destination' like a women's T-dance or a karaoke night at a gay bar that seems like going out socially even if its just the two of us going...
