1. When you go out with friends, what is your favorite drink (alcoholic or non).

2. How often do you go out socially?

3. Have you changed your eating habit in the last year or two?

pumpkinangel--That's my understanding too, from having a fresman girl around on vacation this spring break, they are way more into instagram than FB anymore.  I love your pictures!</p>[/quote]

Yes Instagram is what the teens are into here.  Facebook, not so much. Probably because so many adults have taken it up, it's not cool anymore.  I'm kind of glad & actually because of the pictures & statuses teens post.

I don't see anything wrong with it either way, you would have to ask springy as she is the one who claimed it's not an outing unless it's on facebook or something like that.  I just don't post a lot of everyday pictures to facebook, but I do post pictures.

<<As well as it should be you have different experiences as others. We get together to be together and have a good time. We all love to take pictures though and yes, some of them end up on facebook. Some of my friends and family are not on facebook so I do send them the same ones in other ways. Some people are picture takers more than others. The women at work are not AT ALL and they never have pictures from vacation and when they needed to find a picture for work, they had to use their cellphones to get one as they had nothing lol.>>

So how do you reconcile that with your comment to me about how your social outings must be more picture worthy?  Do you tell your coworkers and friends that don't post their photos that their stuff is not picture worthy either?

I was out every night last weekend. I didn't post a single pic to FB. Personally, IME, the ppl who feel compelled to put 6 million social pics on FB are usually wanting to impress upon others how "social" they are and "how much fun they're having." When I'm out w/friends, I'm generally focued on them, not FB.

1. Either a Cosmopolitan or a good pilsner. Or a mimosa.

2. Including lunches, brunch, happy hour, probably 2-3 times a week.

3. Not really. Well, I have been buying more organic lately.

<<Umm...no they are just more obsessed with taking pictures of every.single.thing on their vacation lol. I don't need to take pictures of every peice of food that I eat, every step I take down the hall, every item in the stores on the ship, etc. lolol. >>

Cool more judgements...seriously, it's okay to do things differently.  They feel those things are worthy of pictures and you feel that your social nights aren't succesful unless they are on facebook.  Neither is right or wrong...let the judgement go, you might feel better.  :)

OH, I get it...you are taking a single specific situation and applying it generally.   I was just trying to reconcile your social events as "picture worthy for facebook" and looking down on someone taking vacation photos as being worthy for facebook.   Using your own words, I guess their vacation was just more worthy of taking pictures?  You and your judgements about diffferences, lol.

Yep, And I heard somewhere that fb is fading with the younger set too.   DS is only 10 and he's already told me he's not going to open an account, Good for him I say!  It is nice to stay in touch with moms of his friends in different areas we've lived just to watch them grow - another advantage to photo sharing there.  :)

Yeah, it is nice to keep in touch with old and new friends on there.
