What's disgusting? While Maddow and the Pope are far apart on lots of issues, there are also areas of agreement. They seem to agree on things like the evils of greed, unchecked capitalism, and the root causes of poverty. What is wrong with pointing to agreement in places where it exists? Hardly anyone is wrong 100% of the time.

Yes

What is your favorite holiday movie?

Rudolph's Shiny New Year (I always just call it the baby new year movie lol)

Do you  have a favorite holiday cookie?

No, I like them all lol

What's for dinner on Christmas?

My sister is cooking so not sure. I think she might be doing some pasta dish (lasagna, manicotti) and ham and other sides. I am doing "Thanksgiving" on Christmas Eve since I have a turkey that I did not use since we went to a friends house for Thanksgiving day.

Number five, Are you surprised by Time magazine's pick for person of the year?

Nope

My favorite part is all the appetizers. I get there right on time and get a great seat. Nice glass of Sangria and food, and I am set Laughing

What's disgusting is the comparison b/w the two, Maddow has an agenda every time she opens her mouth and it's not towards the truth.  The pope's agenda, well, let's just say he walks the walk.

So in the areas where Madfow and the Pope are in agreement, how is it that one is "not towards the truth" but the other is? I don't understand. Truth is truth, even if it's being uttered by someone you don't like.

Frankly, I don't hear Maddow speak out a lot for the poor, her very pro-Obama ways seem to be hypocritcal actually (like recognizing that the aca is going to make the poor poorer here, one example).  Nevertheless, she is liberal in her views from gay marriage to birth control too which aren't the vatican's position either. She is just a liberal pundit, and the far right have them too.
