That's nice you've changed your tune garnetboy/wannabe b/c at one time your disapproval of gay marriage was b/c you feared it would lead to humans being allowed to marry dogs or goats or something sick like that. You're a member of the UCC, they've always believed in marriage equality, No?

I vivdly remember those days! I was offput as a liberal ~ and dog lover ~ not just as a Catholic that someone opposed gay marriage.

I think another issue today is, why does anyone not aspiring nor even remotely eligible to receive communion worry that she can't be a Catholic priest?

You didn't visit the Sistine Chapel. You: << I really enjoyed view from the top St Peter's Dome and the Basilica itself as well as the Sistine Chapel.>>

Psst. There isn't a view from the Sistine Chapel. That was kind of the point. Unless you climbed the clerestory...

You missed the posts where I told Jams that it was well worth the visit to the Vatican City, imo? Where you know, the Sistine Chapel is located.

Or my post where I make the statement (not question as you claimed earlier) where I can't imagine anyone saying that a picture (of the Sistine Chape, as was the context) in a book is better than the original.

Or even when I specifically responded to Bord talking about a line in the Sistine Chapel, that there thankfully wasn't a line when we were there. You know, the first sentence that you didn't quote when you pulled the line about St Peter's Dome? I even quoted bord's full comments talking about the line in the Sistine Chapel when I responded that there wasn't a line when I was there that I remember.

So yes, reading the posts would clearly indicate that I have been there.

Yes, it's best to experience the frescoes. And to not pretend there's some sort of "view" from the Sistine Chapel, lololol!! Sorry, that one was just so illustrative of who's actually been inside. YKWIM.
