1. What were you doing at  age 21?

I was a sr in college, studying and partying my brains out. Life was good, memories are hazy. I did graduate with honors, so no worries. I also married late that year, not my finest hour.

What is your favorite appetizer?

Garlic shrimp

3) What is on your wish list for the holidays?

Kiitchen or iPad air accessories from the kids, earrings from the husband

"This is why I love tapas, dim sum, and mezzes style eating. You can try lots of stuff without it being overly expensive or without overeating." -------- Yes, same here, plus you end up with a varied meal, nutritionally speaking. It is very common in Greece, especially with 4+ people at the table, not to order any real main courses, and order a bunch of mezedes (mezzes) instead. There are also restaurants, called a "mezopoleio" that specialize in this kind of meal.

I was in college and hanging out with school friends, no big memories stand out.  I don't have a favorite "appetizer" but if you're talking side for a football party, nachos or a chile con queso.  I don't really know, My kids just prepared their santa lists...  A pair of new earrings would be nice.

A spinach dip inside a round loaf of rye bread is awesome, I love bread and dip combinations like that.

Unrelated but I thought of you the other day mops, There was a video that went viral about a woman about to undergo a double mastectomy and she was dancing with her nurses and doctors before the surgery. It was an uplifting and inspiring video, not debate worthy but it did make me think of the links and opposite slants on this board.

Thanks. Yeah. I need to go and try then on first as I know that Uggs run large as my dd has a pair and she normally wears a 7 1/2 and they are a 5 and still fit her.

Jams, I saw that, and I have no idea why you think links and posts here were "opposite" to that. There is a lot going on in the breast cancer community along the lines of that video, i.e. patients doing whatever they can to help others through treatment etc. The SCAR project is one such: http://www.thescarproject.org/gallery/
