Jams, there is no apology needed. I explained how your argument comes across, how it is perceived by others. If that is not how you want to be perceived, you should consider changing or adjusting your argument.

Ok, apologies aren't your style then.  The next time you want to assume what others don't understand please prove it.  You don't like warm and fuzzies, I get that, Fine, But don't change that in others.   No, I won't change the way I debate.

You have spent months on her arguing with her approach to dealing with her own illness, Jambles. That is telling her she's doing it wrong. Please.

Wait, what? You think Rolls owes you an apology James? Other way around. Not only had she had to deal with cancer and the treatments for cancer, she has had to put up with you telling her she's doing it all wrong, and she's remain gracious to boot. And now she owes you an apology? For WHAT?

Jams, what I am trying to get you to see is that it is not "supportive" or kind to tell a cancer patient that you support her, but you don' want to know anything about the reality of what she has been through or is going through. In fact, you expect her to put on a happy face and some pink ribbons so that YOU can continue felling all warm and fuzzy about how supportive you are being. This may not be what you mean, but I assure you that it is how you come across.

What a shame mops, You couldn't be more wrong in what you think I don't understand.  I won't hold my breath waiting for your apology.

I think that that the % of those that feel like dancing before their mastectomy is very limited

Perhaps, Or they're not just not taping it.  But the bigger picture to me wasn't even the dancing before the surgery, it was attitude.  She's a doctor and if her courage and attitude has inspired one person its inspired many and you can't dispute that.
