As she quoted in the post that you quoted, the reason is because it is the law where she is.

Two reasons, we have always seen ourselves as a team.

Also living in a community propery state there is no legal mine and his.  All of our assets and all of our debts are equally each of ours.

The only vehicles we owned that were not titled in both of our names were the vehicles we bought for DD2 and DD3 to use in college and then gift to them after they graduated.  The reason we did those in only DH's name was because  it was such a hassled with the paper work when we gifted DD1s to her.  Since the title was in both of our names we had to squeeze both of our names onto lines with only room for one.

  Another reason that we have never thought to individually  title our vehicles is for most of our marriage we did not have a his vehicle and a hers vehicle but shared vehicles.
