1. How much exercise have you gotten this week so far?

2. Do you get your father and/or the father of your child/ren something for Father's Day?

3. If you were given $10,000 today, what would you do with it?

Um, I'm not the one that is fighting and making it a big deal.  :)

I have no idea why you keep fighting something that is not a big deal.

Why do you continue then if you feel this way?

OF course, you said that most of your family is close and so are your friends.  You made a very big deal out of the fact that your family was so close to you and your friends and the things that you like to do is close to you. You are the one that made it a big deal that everything is super close to you: work, family, friends, social and so forth....not anyone else.  Which is curious as to why you want to have it both ways.

<<Spring....the word walk is not mentioned at all in the piece of whatever comment you pulled from and yes, that is the question that you never answered and instead wanted me to define "your" area.

Which you never did.>>

Sure I did, you quoted it multiple times and edited it into a fictional comment about just walking to things.  I corrected you multiple times but you persisted in using the fictional comment instead of the factual one I posted.

It's really simple, if you don't put mileage on your car because everything is close (needed items, family, and social) AND you don't do anything on a regular bais outside of the that mileage, either there has to be another mode of transportation and/or you don't go anywhere outside of the area.

For example as I (and others) explained to you 100's of posts ago, we also live close to most things that we do on a daily basis but it is our social/activity/family life that takes us out of the area on a regular basis and that is what puts miles on our car.  It's really not a big deal either way, low mileage or not leaving the local area on a regular basis, I have no idea why you keep fighting something that is not a big deal.  It's just a differnce and for the life of me I can't figure out why it's so hard for you accept that it's different for you than others.

So how exactly are you going outside of your area on a regular basis?

Ummm..I do more than just work and stay home Undecided

You aren't driving, you said you don't like taking the train, flying is only once a year....so exactly how are you going outside of your area on regular basis.  Which you know, is part of my original question.  :

Spring....the word walk is not mentioned at all in the piece of whatever comment you pulled from and yes, that is the question that you never answered and instead wanted me to define "your" area.

Which you never did.

A little odd if you ask me but hey whatever....I get it, everything is close.

Thanks

You don't put mileage on your car.

Compared to the "average" amount, true.

You don't drive very far.

Again, that all depends on where I am going

You only vacation once a year.

Yes, that is true but we don't drive so mileage has no effect if we vacationed once or 10 times a year.

You don't do weekend trips.

Not really, no. We have in the past but those were not driven to either.

You don't do Sunday drives.

Every Sunday, no.

You don't want to waste time on the train.

No, I never said that. I would rather take the train then drive into the city.

Everything you need is close.

Pretty much, yes.

But someone, someway you leave your area on a regular basis without doing any of that.

Huh?

Only if I am using my magic carpet....the miles go on something and the carpet is in the shop.  ;)

<<Yes as I have explained to PKA that many things are close to my home, some even enough to walk to. I have explained numerous times how I think an hour and a half ride is FAR to the point of something I would not want to do everyday (while some do) and that I don't need to travel that far for conveniences. That does NOT mean that I do NOT go that far or to places outside of my close "area" for things. Not sure why anyone would think I would limit myself to just the things in my town (or whatever everyone is considering my "area" since no one wants to take the chance and explain their idea of that).>>

Well that's not true, I explained it multiple times, you even quoted it for posts.  Please don't fib!

<<THIS was your post on the bottom of page 11:

"Okay, so again....how is that you leave your area when you keep bragging about how everything is so close, so close, so close!  I'm considering your area to be what you are talking about, everything is close, close, close!  So which is it, you never leave your area or you do spend time away from your area?"

So you consider my "area" to be what I was talking about,...all the close, close, close things. I never said I do NOT leave that "area". I said I have many things close to me that I COULD walk to. Everything is also very convenient and close to my home. That does NOT mean I don't go to other similar or different places elsewhere OUTSIDE of my area. Sigh.>>
