1. How much exercise have you gotten this week so far?

2. Do you get your father and/or the father of your child/ren something for Father's Day?

3. If you were given $10,000 today, what would you do with it?

Oh no, I get it....really, it's okay.  We look at things very differently and I'm really okay with all of that. :)

I didn't ask what it meant, I asked do what, which is something totally different since it wasn't clear what specifically hardy was referring to.  It's not current, lol.

<<Yes, you can incur losts of miles on your car and only go around your neighborhood, IF you are not very organized and plan very well. YOUR mileage occurs because of the distance you drive, NOT the going back and forth to work and other errands IN your neighborhood.>>

Na, for me it has nothing to do with being organized and planning and everything to do with social/activites, vacations and so forth.  I just don't have that many errands to run on a weekly basis to rack up miles, it's all the social stuff for me.  I think work and/or errands is about 100 miles a week, the other 200+ is fun.   :)

I don't think I even come CLOSE to 100 miles for work and errands. lol. I only food shop once a week and if I do have to pick something up that was missed or last minute, I will go to my closest store, less than a mile away. Otherwise I try and combine most trips and I could even walk to many different stores instead of using my car.

Me too!  We did Florida over sping break and I think we are doing Georgia this summer for a week.  I'm sorry that you can't get away for the weekend sometimes in the summer, bummer.  :(

Don't be sorry, we don't do weekend get aways. We would rather take the money for a bunch of them and take a big vacation. This year our weekends are pretty booked anyway so we couldn't get away to do anything.

Who would I rather...what?

Yep you asked what like you had no clue what it meant. It really is ok. Some of us are not that "hip" with things.

Different people like to do different things. Some people don't like road trips. I get that. I like to be out of town at least one weekend a month, just to be someplace different. Some people would hate that. Several of my sisters are real homebodies and would be happy becer going anywhere. That is fine. It's only "sad" or something to be sorry about if people are forced to do something they would rather not do, or for some reason cannot do what they would like to do.

Great, the either/or thing wouldn't work for us but I'm glad it works for you.

I read thardy's question last week and thought I knew what she was asking but kind of didn't believe it until someone asked for clarification. I'd kind of pegged her as too classy for that.

Right, I wasn't asking what it meant, I was asking what which specific in a game that I haven't played since my 20's in college.  I'm literally lol at it being "hip", a college drinking game from 20 years ago is hip with adults in your area?  So funny.

PKA we're doing Hilton Head for a week this summer- planning on a day trip to Savannah while we're there - we should compare notes and see if we'll over lap vacations!

hopeing also to squeeze in a weekend away with just my wife and then a weekend thats nothing but day trips as a family (my wife works every other weekend so if we can finagle the schedules the right way we will make it so!)

Yeah, I would rather go to the birthday parties, bbq's, parties, wedding, work outing, out with friends, town function, etc. than to go away this year for a weekend. We also want to do a garage sale with friends and family one of the weekends in the summer (that we can squeeze in) and we also like to do volunteering with church. We do have ONE big vacation planned for this year though. I am sure it is costing us a lot more money than a few weekends would though.
