1. How much exercise have you gotten this week so far?

2. Do you get your father and/or the father of your child/ren something for Father's Day?

3. If you were given $10,000 today, what would you do with it?

1. How much exercise have you gotten this week so far? -- I've logged 212 minutes of exercise and burned 1619 calories since Sunday. This includes biking 5.5 miles, running 7.5 miles, walking 3, and an hour kickboxing class.

2. Do you get your father and/or the father of your child/ren something for Father's Day? -- My father died two years ago - up until then, I always got him something for FD. My kids are old enough to buy their dad adn stepdad their own gifts. I usually get dh a card.

3. If you were given $10,000 today, what would you do with it? -- Put in a storm shelter, and take the kids on a long-weekend vacation trip.

I think you must drive less than average. According to the Federal Highway Administration, the average annual mileage on a car is just over 12,000.

We have but not that often and not always JUST on a Sunday. For the amount driven during the week, a drive here and there doesn't do much for the mileage, as you can see when I am JUST hitting 80,000 miles.

I guess I should have been MORE specific and say AFTER taxes (if it applies). I didn't think a simple question would turn into this lol. Didn't you ever think what you would do if you got unexpected money, such as the lotto or some windfall that you did NOTHING to get?

Well, technically, you *do something* to win the lottery. You pay money to buy a ticket.

SavCal- on Father's Day I always say a special prayer for the memories of my dad and your dad -- who I will never ever ever forget. What kindness he showed that day he wrote me and said "my daughter says your father is no longer with us and it sounds like you could use a dad's love and approval today" .. He was a class act my friend...xoxo

You don't EARN the money. You win it. I did say windfall too or anything else. It was not meant to be about getting a bonus at work. NOT earning the money.

PKA- my wife is queen of the day trip -- i'll often come home on a Friday in the summer and she'll announce something like "tomorrow we shall be exploring xxxxxxx " I even wrote a whole blog post about it called "Feet on the Dashboard" -- I LOVE our day trips..and even when on vacation we always hav ea rental car for exploring the area with the girl - we have had some of our best laughs over our GPS's voices in our rental cars...

I love day/weekend trips too and we almost always have a rental car on vacation for exploring on our own. My gps talks to me in a New Zealand accent, he is lovely to listen to even when he is made at me because I don't always follow his directions. :)

I'm so excited for this weekend, of course I may not feel that way after my 6th trip out of town this summer but the first one is always exciting.

My last car had 220,000+ on it and it was 12 years old when we retired the old girl. My current car, which is 5 years old, has 80,000ish miles. I drive a lot but we also drive distance on a regular basis, especially in the summer.

I'm about to turn over 100,000 in my car. and I realized the other day that The Girl's car has about 15,000 less miles on it than mine does ... not fair! lol
