What rooms in your house are too big, which are too small and which are just right?

LOL. There's not a single room in my house that can accurately be described as "too big". And according to the selling agent, all too many folks described the entire house as "too small". I, however, think it's just right. :D.

Having said that, my plan in the new year is to sacrifice the "formal" front entryway in order to increase the size of the kitchen.

Our kitchen is smaller than we would like-- it gets a little bit cramped if DH and I are both trying to trying to do something in the kitchen. And I don't like that the kitchen is closed off from the dining and living rooms. My plan is to someday knock out the wall between the kitchen and the living/dining rooms and put in an island and extend cabinets around the back of the dining room.

The bedrooms are too big, especially DS's, in comparison with other living spaces. We use the smallest bedroom as a den/office/toy room, which works out really well for us. We have a good number of closets in the bedrooms, which is nice.

We plan to add a bathroom to the upstairs, so the kids will have their own and I'd like to figure out a good place for a half bath for guests downstairs. A 2 1/2 bath house would be perfect.

Nothing is too small, several things are too big.

My kitchen is too small. I fell in love with my house, the first time I saw it....except the kitchen. It's quite functional, so I don''t complain, it simply would be nicer if there was more room.

One thing I would like to add to this house is another bathroom. We don't really need one, but it would be a nice convenience if I could split the girls and boys up, lol.

The bathroom and the entry hall into it are too small.

The sewing room is too small.

My master bath is small, but we do have a decent size tub. Personally, I would rather just have a shower, and better utilize the space. It's not a huge enough problem though, for me to have thought about putting it in my first *too small* post, lol.

I have a relatively small house especially given that there are 6 of us living here.

When we had this house built, the master called for a tub and shower.
