Long time ago when my oldest was about 8 years old and playing baseball, there was a mother who used to pull her son every night from practice early if her "show" was on and wasn't a repeat.

I've seen some of them streaming on the web and highlights on the news, but not the same as being there.

Kids games that is, my oldest is in highschool and they do recaps on the local news a lot.

I think it comes down to personal preference. Just like some people love camping, and some people would rather just stay in a hotel (also my dad).

We watch almost all of our tv shows through Netflix. I love not having commercials!
