I find that I am able to monitor my ODS's Facebook page by logging into it.

I feel this way, too. I am on FB solely for the purpose of monitoring my teenager, so I don't like getting friend requests. Since I'm rarely on FB, it's pointless.

As a parent of a teen girl and teen boy, I've got to say that my son's fb feed is much raunchier than my daughter's. I don't do censorship, but I do supervise and discuss some of the topics posted. It's mostly just crude humor, but some of it is sexist too. He's 14, and I will monitor it probably for another year or so. I haven't logged into my daughter's fb account in several years, she's 16.
