1. What are you wearing today? -- brown ballet flats, brown pinstriped pants, a mango/salmon/orangey flowy ruffled top, silver earrings, orange watch

2. What's for lunch? - Dh and I are going out. I'm having either the blackened chicken platter with steamed veggies, or a 1/2 house salad and 1/2 hawaiian chicken sandwich.

3. Dinner? - taco potatoes!

4. Listening to music right now? If so, what's on? -- I have Pandora running on my Jimmy Buffett channel. Current song is Beast of Burden by the Stones.

5. Fourth of July plans? - none.  My mom and brothers are going to Colorado (yearly trek). My kids leave the 5th for Germany, so we'll probably just grill at home, maybe make some home-made ice cream, swim, etc.

1.  Workout duds.  Other than shoes--shoes go on last.  I have a light workout scheduled for today.  Cardio Sculpt Blaster.  It's a good follow on to my 3 miles on the bike yesterday.

2.  Leftovers from dinner :) (the joys of eating lunch AFTER dinner ;D )

3. Salmon, with wilted spinach and feta.

4.  Only because there's a commercial on tv right now.

5. I'd like to do a 10 miler by the 4th, but it will likely be at Centennial Lake park rather than open road--I'm still getting used to being on a bike after 20+ odd years.

4. Listening to music right now? If so, what's on? I listen to Pandora on my computer and have my Ennio Morricone station on listening to instrumental music

I started biking a couple weeks ago.  It's such a different workout than running, but I can do it in higher temps than running, so it's a good summer thing on those days I just can't make myself run.  I've done 7ish miles 3-4 times in the last few weeks and it's killer on my quads.   I was feeling all good about 7 miles and then one of my BFFs posted about doing 20 ... sigh.  lol   I'm hoping to get it up to 15 or so by the end of the summer - maybe more ...

Given how long you've been working out, I bet you'll find you increase your distances quickly (assuming the weather continues to cooperate).  Mine is slow because I'm having to learn to pedal using a pedal modifier on the right side.  And the ROM of my right knee is still right on the limits of my flexion, so once I do a ride, I have to pop ibuprofen and ice up the knee for 15 or 20 minutes.  It'll come, but I'm in no hurry to overdo things :)

You should start up again, Bea.  As long as it's been since I rode regularly, I still LOOOOOVE it :)  Even with the 'gimp modifier' on my right pedal ;)
