<<I never said that. Why would I be sorry? >>

Yea you did and I don't know, that's why I asked the question when you said  you were sorry to hear that I had never heard of the show...me a stranger?  Why would you be sorry to hear that I don't have the same tv viewing habits as you?

<<So why wouldn't you know this show then? I never said I was sorry that you hadn't heard of it. I might have said I was sorry that you haven't seen it. Who knows at this point. You can quote me if you want. >>

Because I never heard of the show.  I don't know every single solitary show out there, but I am aware of many shows that I do not watch.   See this is the type of humor that I find funny, you going on about how questions should be answered when you didn't answer mine, then have danced around answering it yet again.  Next I will be a nag for asking for an answer again.  So funny.

I enjoy stand up comedy very much - especially enjoy improv comedy- and have seen a number of terrifically rauncy comedians in gay bars-- I just find that the older I get the less I think raunchy humor is funny... it doesn't shock or offend me I just don't find it funny.. and I LOVE to laugh and love really good stand up.. one of the best date nights I ever had with my wife was when I gave her tickets to see Kathy Griffin in concert.. so fun.

yes! one of them Austin TIschner (sp?) is an old friend of my ex husbands- they did summer stock together way back in the day -- it's such a hysterical piece - and a great intro to shakespeare for young people too

"Yes Roll, definitely a family film." --------- Thanks, although I get a slight chuckle at the term. We never did those really. DD watched children's stuff and we watched our stuff.

What's funny about the term, "family film" mops?  I'm not following...  Thanks.

I agree with much of this....it doesn't shock or offend me either, I just don't find it funny, it's not very creative imo.  I enjoy humor but not when it's a pie in the face type of humor.

"I saw and liked Argo very much but thought Lincoln was a better film" -------- I would like to see Argo, I think, although I wonder if it is all didactic or sanctimonious.

"What's funny about the term, "family film" mops? I'm not following... " -------- I find the term slightly funny, because we never watched films as a family, at least not until dd was big enough to watch grown-up films.
