1. What do you consider a bad boy?

2. Do you change your bedding for the different seasons?

3. Do you/have you ever smoked cigarettes?

"I'm found of Hopper and Pollock." ------- I love Hopper although he can be depressing. I sort of like Pollock if the mood is right. Usually though he annoys me, lol.

"That is AMAZING, Roll." ------- It was REALLY nice. I still mourn that house. They turned it into a golf club and we got kicked out. I have disliked golf ever since ;)

I guess your family rented it then?

<<The Kids and their friends used to hang out in the rec room upstairs. But now that there is way more "mixed company" and romantic relationships involved, I make them hang out downstairs instead.   So I'm in the bedroom more than I used to be.>

Exactly, mixed company is on the main floor with the open floor plan where anyone could walk through at any given time.  :0

I can only go by what you write, you are the one that is turning reading in one's bedroom into a negative thing, not the rest of us, lol.

Why is that relevant?

ROFL, I am trying to feel sorry for my poor newlywed parents having to make do with their rented garret. It is not working for me.

Aw, c'mon. Admit it. You were one of those filthy-faced kids at the poor school whose mother had to take laundry in on the weekends in order to make ends meet.

To tell the truth, it was in such lousy shape that you didn't miss much.  It was barely discernable on the wall when I saw it.  I haven't seen it since the latest attempt at restoration.

I am sure my parents did not have much when we lived in that amazing place, because they were newlyweds, young and my father was starting his own business. My dad always had an unerring talent though for finding nice houses, even when his cash was modest. They bought a summer house right after they were married for absolute pittance, and it is a huge farm with a lot of land, and, again, a very distinct and cool house.

Nobody in my family locks himself or herself anywhere. My teens have usually preferred to "hang" in the family room.  I usually "hang" in the den.  My husband is the bedroom guy.
