Do you decorate outside?

Are you hosting or going somewhere this year?

Big group or small one?

How is shopping going?

Do you decorate outside?

We do some years, it had been a long time since we had.  We did this year because DH saw an inflatable air plane that he liked and bought.

>Are you hosting or going somewhere this year?

We are hosting.

Big group or small one?

Should be 10 of us so I guess a medium group.  DH, myself, three DDs, two boyfriends, DH 's dad, step-mother and her brother.

How is shopping going?

I almost finished it up over the weekend,   just a few small items left, candy for stockings, couple of gift cards,

1.  I put up lights around our bay window and decorate the doorway.  Nothing fancy.

2. Hosting

3.  7-10.  So, not too big.

4.  Well, it looks as if I will have to go to the mall after all.

Yes, We have a wreath and white lights, No reindeer this year.  Or lollipop sticks, I think that's a first this year, Lol.  Hosting.  Small.  I am officially done, stocking stuffer things like candy are the only things left to buy.  I bought some last minute things to fill the bags we are donating yesterday and we shall decorate those bags this weekend then drop off/pass out next week as I've finally arranged a date with the director there to do that.

Do you decorate outside? -- Yes. My  neighborhood has a contest. The whoel neighborhood lights luminaries along the curbs for the weekend before Christmas and has Santa and hot chocolate in one of the cul-de-sacs, and hosts a "drive through the neighborhood and look at the lights" thing. We don't go overboard - just enough to participate.  Lights along the perimeter of the house, some lighted reindeer and spiral trees, and them some other miscellaneous stuff.

Are you hosting or going somewhere this year? -- Not certain, although I think I'm hosting.

Big group or small one? - Probably just the immediate family, so 8-10 of us.  My xSIL and her family will be around, and if we can get to our hometown to see them, they'll come stay a day or so with us.

How is shopping going? - decent. About halfway done

Do you decorate outside?

Yes, we have lights around garland on the top of the house, lighted reindeer on lawn, wreath on front door, seasons greeting sign with snowmen and santa around flower garden, lighted snowman and flameless candle on porch.

We do, we have white lights on the outside of the house.  If I host something during the holidays, I usually have lumanaries on both sides of the walkways.

We are going lots of places this season, but for Christmas we will be with the immediate family plus a few "adopted" members of the family.

It's about twelve, give or take a few.  I don't consider that big, more medium size.

Going well, scored a hard to find item for one of my kids and have ordered a number of things for people, just waiting for them to be delivered in the next few days or so.  I might have to make another early morning trip this weekend.

Do you decorate outside?

Yes.  This year lighted wreathes on the front.  That's about it.

Are you hosting or going somewhere this year?

Going.

Big group or small one?

Over 20.  My SIL is awesome and keeps the family together.  (And my brother's nice too. ;)

How is shopping going?

Almost there.  I want to take an "inventory" today because I want each child to get about the same # of gifts.  Remember that debate here? ;)

That's so low class.  Just j/kg!  Seriously, I think those neighborhoods keep the fun alive.  Is there a prize?

I usually put an ornament on the door. We are hosting our kid. I have not started shopping yet. Dh is getting dd a new laptop, so I just have to get some small things for her.
