Do you decorate outside?

Are you hosting or going somewhere this year?

Big group or small one?

How is shopping going?

Stop with the bull, I get notifications and the notification about your donation came on 12/7 which, from my calculations, is a Saturday, I did not talk about your state or that you contact the governor of MO until Sunday morning.  Your hypocrisy is showing, stop making things up.

I looked you up to find out where you live, Jambles.  Know why I did that?  Because I was peeved because YOU had made a post mentioning where I live, despite my many pleas over the years to people not to post identifying information.  So I wanted to retaliate by posting where YOU live.  That was juvenile of me, I admit.  But I looked YOU up to find where YOU live.  Not your child.  The fact that the first link I got was to your donation page was not my fault.  Then I decided, "Oh, why not surprise her with an anonymous donation?"  I am not sure why you felt compelled to bring it to the board.

1. It is only anonymous if you don't tell anyone who you are and don't tell the person you gave it to them.

2. Seems like an end of the year tax write off to me. Sad that a child is being used for personal gain. Especially one you don't even know.

How odd.  I guess the JDRF needs to reset its clock or something.

She needs to become trickier if she doesn't want an actual name to appear as donor of the cause, Lol.  I received a couple anonymous donations actually and on the public site they are listed that way, I know who they are privately b/c that is how they come through in email and that is how it should be.

I would think the charity would not disregard someone's request either. Again, tax write off at the end of the year is a very popular thing.

I didn't tell Jambles I made the donation; the JDRF chose to do that despite me saying I wanted to make the donation anonymous.   I haven't had good luck so far with that charity; they disregarded my wishes and their website seems to malfunction.   Oh well.

It is true that I will save something like $4.50 on my taxes by having made that donation if and only if we can aviod the AMT this year.  However, since it cost me seven times that to make the donation, I am not exactly coming out ahead here.

Sorry but I don't believe that someone would make a donation, to a total stranger's child, to, obviously, a charity they are not familiar with, at the end of the year NOT for their own benefit.

There you go with reason and common sense again, turk.  I guess donors should have all the power and control about their donations, heavens the donee find out...  Perhaps she should have listed her name as Mickey Mouse, Nobody would know then o_0
