Do you decorate outside?

Are you hosting or going somewhere this year?

Big group or small one?

How is shopping going?

Clearly you don't know how donations to charitable organizations work, let alone the generous spirit of others.

Oh, I VERY much know how they work and the generous spirit of others. Hunting down children's names of strangers to donate to a charity is for YOUR own benefit. Imagine if Jam's, Thardy or myself did that? All HELL would break loose. Think about that.

I have donated to that cause before, multiple times.

And? What is your point PKA?

I gave to a children's charity this year, as I have every year and I don't know anyone who has this particular disease personally.

And? Did you research someone's child's name to do so?

Now it's about how charitable we are...  My daughter would get a good laugh from this actually.  What can I say?  I've stirred up some real drama over it, Lol..

I will write off the donation if I can.  But writing off the donation does not mean I come out ahead.   If I can write it off, I will save something between 4.50 and 7.00 on taxes.  That is nice, but it still cost me way more than that to make the donation.  I am not benefitting financially by making a small donation.  It is the equivalent of dropping some cash into the Salvation Army bucket.  A spur of the moment thing to do that decent people see as a nice thing to do.  End of story.

But you needed to do research on someone's child to do so, correct?

I didn't say that...I said you were assuming again and/or not reading.  Bord's a generous person, that's why.  Do you really not understand the basics of charitable giving?

No one is researching a child's name.  I looked up Jamblessed's name.  Try it yourself, the link pops up under her name.

Again, evidence of people not knowing how FB works.

What does FB have to do with Bord asking her about her dh here on ivillage?

No, as I have explained several times.
