Do you decorate outside?

Are you hosting or going somewhere this year?

Big group or small one?

How is shopping going?

She PAYS $25 and recieves a deduction on her taxes of about $5 .... one doesn't have to be a financial whiz to see there's not a financial gain there.

Where did it say she only gave $25?

And you know what? I'll talk financial benefits anytime I want. I don't need your permission.

Oh my, I've stepped on pride.

No one is researching a child's name.  I looked up Jamblessed's name.  Try it yourself, the link pops up under her name.

Why? You don't have this charity in your own area that you could contribute to? You had to go look up a stranger's name (and yes, she IS a stranger as you don't REALLY know her).

No, I did not have to go "find" her daughter's name.  Her name is well known to me and has been for years.  I found the link to the race under Jambles' name.

As for Jambles not answering the query, I assumed she hadn't seen in.  The only other explanation would be that either she did see and and chose not to acknowledge it, which would be deliberately rude, and I didn't want to think she was deliberately rude, or possibly that she did not know it would be polite to acknowledge it, and I didn't want to think she was that ignorant of the coventions of polite behavior.

I can honestly say, I haven't seen evidence of you knowing that, let alone very much knowing.  Where on earth are you getting hunting down children's names of strangers?  Please, you have to stop making things up, this doesn't reflect well on your comments.

I would think that any of us would be gracious if a donation was made to a charitable organization that we publically requested, on the internet. If I ever set up a page on a website where I request donations on behalf of a charitable organization, I would be gracious for receiving what I asked for, publically.  All heck didn't break loose when you friend requested peoples children under a fake name, so I can't imagine a public donation would cause any uproar, a public thank you perhaps.

Did you give?

Is it an either/or thing?  You either have to contribute locally or not at all?  Who knew?

Well, that wouldn't happen b/c you know the tables would turn.  Bord...  Can at least ask for the name of your private investigator?  You can pm me that if you want..  Thanks a lot.

That one doesn't have to know a child personally do donate to a cause.  One can donate to a cause because they think it's a good cause and/or for other connections.

Oh, please.  You can't understand a "for instance" kind of post?  Of course you can.

Well, bord didn't do that either so I'm not sure what your point is here.  I donated, as did Bord, based on the parent.
