1. What's for dinner?
Whatever the kid decides to make.  Probably food of some sort.  Not likely to be manwhich.

2. What is one thing that you are looking forward to?
The end of my work day.

1. What's for dinner?  So boring compared to everyone else.  breaded chicken cutlets, steamed broccoli, rice from my rice cooker.

2. What is one thing that you are looking forward to?  My dining room curtains.  I was just at the fabric store, have 5 (more) styles to choose from by Thursday.  Panic.  I'm thinking of this:

LANCASTER WINE

Anyone?  Anyone?  Don't be shy with me now!

"Corned beef, cabbage, and potatoes.  I know we're early for St Patrick's Day, but it's something easy that we like and it was on sale. And we're neither Irish nor Catholic, so we don't celebrate the saint's day anyway."

Well, thanks for making me feel better about serving that this coming Saturday instead of Sunday, when I won't have time to make it. My kids like the tradition of having it on the 17th, so I'll simply point out what you said. ;)

1. I cut a pork shoulder roast into steaks yesterday and then marinated them in an Asian-style marinade that I usually use for chicken. Then I grilled them.  I had some of the leftovers for dinner tonight.  I served it with a salad and roasted potatoes and red grapefruit for dessert.  (I luuuuuuuurve grapefruit when its in season).

2. The Original Sewing Expo in Baltimore.

I like the print and color.  What's the fabric made of?  How's its hand?  I think that could be really pretty.  What are the other fabrics you're thinking of?

I like the fabric.  It would be nice to see how it goes in the rest of the room -- and the other choices.

Oddly enough, I have the same fabric in a different colorway (brick).  I bought a few yards on E-Bay thinking I would re-do a chair in our bedroom with it, but it's about a third of a yard less than I need.  They suggested doing the back of the chair in a coordinating/contrasting fabric and making it look like I did it that way on purpose, but I haven't found the other fabric I would like.

No way G-gal, my dad's bday is tomorrow too.  I'm not going to see him though, he & my mom went out of town.  We celebrated his birthday earlier.  He's going to be 66!

1. What's for dinner?  We had pizza.

2. What is one thing that you are looking forward to? Hmm, I just checked my calendar.  It's spring break and I do not have to go to work until next Monday and I have nothing planned between now (Tuesday night) and next Monday.  (Had lunch with my girlfriends today).  I'm looking forward to a quiet, unplanned week where I can do whatever I want.  I'm getting off the computer now to go work on my scrapbooking project.  I don't get to do it that often.
