To be honest...i dont want my kids to have a hot breakfast every morning...unless it was "oatmeal"

I think fruits, yougurts granola are much healthier that french toast and eggs for breakfast. My kids love pancakes for dinner...

I suppose it depends on the brands used, and how they are prepared...the yogurt that my kids like (and that is served for breakfast at school) is full of sugar, and I would not consider it any healthier than the french toast that I prepare for them. They eat fruit and drink a glass of milk with it, and it's a nutritious and balanced meal.

And now that it's been mentioned a couple of times, what is the issue with eggs? Again, the eggs that I prepare for my family are healthier than the yogurt served at school.

like hot lunches, i thought hot breakfasts at school were a pretty universal thing, i guess not..my kid brings home a menu once a month, the menu is also available on the school website, sides are typically things like yogurts, fruits, etc.

we have much more time on weekends for hot breakfasts than school days, the mornings aren't so rushed here.
