Underage Drinking

We have friends who find nothing wrong with allowing their 16 year olds to drink. They allow them to have beer pong parties with their friends (because they are doing it in their home) and allow them to try different types of wines (In their words "to make them a connoisseur of wine").

We find this unacceptable as if they are doing it at home, you know they are doing it elsewhere and these kids are able to drive now so I can not believe that none of them ever drive home drunk.

What does everyone think of this?

No it was about the alcohol at school and security there not knowing anything about it. You dont want to talk about security which is fine as I wouldnt either if there is such a lack of it.

I'd forgotten how funny you can be.  Now that Downton Abbey is over this is the best fiction around!

"There were armed guards at Columbine. Besides, if the security guards were busy shooting suspects, kids could be out in their cars drinking, and no one would know." LOL

This is why it's a very bad idea to discuss details of security arrangements online. We don't want stalker types knowing what time security folks take their lunch breaks.

Ok, So let's go back to the topic of stalking. How do we protect our children online and why are they friending people they don't know on internet sites like Fb... Are you saying those sick minds at Columbine and Sandy Hook targeted their victims that way too?

No, Bord simply is not interested in discussing specifics of security at the school, for reasons that should be obvious. The subject of the thread is underaged drinking. I have not offered an opinion, since we do not have a drinking age down here.
