Underage Drinking

We have friends who find nothing wrong with allowing their 16 year olds to drink. They allow them to have beer pong parties with their friends (because they are doing it in their home) and allow them to try different types of wines (In their words "to make them a connoisseur of wine").

We find this unacceptable as if they are doing it at home, you know they are doing it elsewhere and these kids are able to drive now so I can not believe that none of them ever drive home drunk.

What does everyone think of this?

I think it's a shame it takes tragedies like CT for security to show their presense more, If it saves them from waiting for a 911 call more power to their presense in our schools! And the police are parked and on patrol everyday outside the schools here, It's kinda stupid to wait for that crazy, armed guy to walk in first.

Yep I agree. I don't like the idea of armed guards at schools though but it seems many schools are dropping the ball when they allow underage kids to walk in during school with alcohol and hiding it in "secret" rooms.
