Underage Drinking

We have friends who find nothing wrong with allowing their 16 year olds to drink. They allow them to have beer pong parties with their friends (because they are doing it in their home) and allow them to try different types of wines (In their words "to make them a connoisseur of wine").

We find this unacceptable as if they are doing it at home, you know they are doing it elsewhere and these kids are able to drive now so I can not believe that none of them ever drive home drunk.

What does everyone think of this?

One of the things that I've given up for Lent is pretending to know what Jesus would do. The first disciples, who practically lived with him 24/7 for three years, were constantly surprised by what Jesus would do. Why should we be any different. Although I do like to remind people who ask me WWJD that turning over tables and whipping folks into shape is a viable option.

Good one Jam. We all sin but some forget that. Lying is a sin and there is a lot of that going on in this thread. lol. I never said I go to church every week and am involved in it as much as others who claim to throw stones. That part is the saddest of all, IMO. They obviously learn nothing when they go there if they find it fun to put down people and ridicule them online. I guess if you live with someone who is a doormat, you get used to treating them like that and think you can treat perfect strangers the same way. And you wonder why they call that state "Misery" lol :)

Let me get this straight. You started a thread, judging people that you know in real life. You then picked a fight with people who were agreeing with your position (if not your judgement of said friends). You have a history, personally, with the posters here, having salked them and their kids. Now you want all of the internet world to believe that you are the victim?

He was, wasn't he Jam. I guess another lesson not learned by attending church every week and teaching Sunday School. What a shame as what are they teaching the younger generation then? I wonder if they all go to reconciliation every week too. lol.
