Underage Drinking

We have friends who find nothing wrong with allowing their 16 year olds to drink. They allow them to have beer pong parties with their friends (because they are doing it in their home) and allow them to try different types of wines (In their words "to make them a connoisseur of wine").

We find this unacceptable as if they are doing it at home, you know they are doing it elsewhere and these kids are able to drive now so I can not believe that none of them ever drive home drunk.

What does everyone think of this?

Well since I have quite a few friends, I do know some foodies or so they say they are. I am not going to defriend them because they eat that or anything else crappy but t doesnt mean I agree with their food choices. Lol

No not beer pong, just drinking at home. Not everyone plays beer pong bawahhaaa. I never have. Lol

I never have, but then again I don't have friends who allow minor children to play beer pong in their house as you do.  Read you op and why don't you invite them to defend themselves against your judgements?

I thought you were leaving...and no worries. I have PLENTY of entertainment.

IDK that my posts will disappear though. Since this is the most action the board has seen in months, I bet this thread makes the featured post on the front page! Wouldn't that be something!!!!

Wow sorry your entertainment is over garnet lol. Why DID you all of a sudden come back here after so long? Not a sore loser at all. Here for a debate and as usual when no one can debate it turns into a high school girl drama thread. I guess you can find whatever other messageboard you have been going on for what months or maybe a year? I have been busy with my family, friends, work, other things. No time to get messed up in this type of stuff as there never is a real debate as no one wants to lose, especially to me so it never ends well and the armour comes out to find anything you can on me to break me down with the debate. Again, I would appreciate you taking down my name on this thread and before they take down your posts anyway.

Well because despite your personal judgements and using your friends, it is an interesting debate. I don't know why you turned it into high school girl drama, that is something you need to ask yourself as it is a pattern. You have clearly had the time to post here, your have started numerous threads, do you think that we can't see them here on ivillage?

Garnet boy is slandering me and using my name without permission. She HAS been reported.

It's not slander when it's provably true.  And it's provably true.

So when you said "I am sure you do garnet but they all lie about eating that crap. Lol"  it's your friends that all lie about what they are eating?  Okay, so your friends believe in illegal drinking and they lie about what they eat.  Interesting group.

If you want your name taken down, let me know and I will do it right away. Let me know.

Which just proves you to be the worst sort of hypocrite.  You claim offense that someone used your name without permission, but you KNOW you have no permission to use anyone else's name, and still use it.  This whole innane claim that they have to ask you to remove it is just further proof that you're a hypocrite.  If you really believed no one should use anyone else's name without permission, you yourself would never use anyone else's name without permission.

And since you've also claimed to be 'done with [person whose name you don't have permission to use]", these further posts using her name and responding to you just make you look.... well ... in a way that does you no favors.

Oh. And I came back to debate. That is the purpose of the board, is it not? You started a debate on a public message board and I took part in the debate.
