Underage Drinking

We have friends who find nothing wrong with allowing their 16 year olds to drink. They allow them to have beer pong parties with their friends (because they are doing it in their home) and allow them to try different types of wines (In their words "to make them a connoisseur of wine").

We find this unacceptable as if they are doing it at home, you know they are doing it elsewhere and these kids are able to drive now so I can not believe that none of them ever drive home drunk.

What does everyone think of this?

Unless you've changed churches the same church YOU'VE said your DH is a deacon at, Some memories do stand out, Garnetboy!

So you remember that my DH was a deacon, but you don't remember which denomination we're in, correct?

Which leads me to wonder how you know what my church's stance on transfiguration is since you don't know which denomination you're speaking of. The doctrinal differences between denominations are, in some cases, staggering. So if you don't know which denomination you're speaking of, how on Earth can you know the doctrine?

You know for someone as yourself who gets all upset when we debate the Catholic religion here, you bring it up quite a bit for debate.

Nah, Just different.  Catholic doctrine is NOT UCC doctrine, Feel free to correct me if I have your denomination wrong.

JAM, your memories are much better than most on here as I have seen so many things come up today that are just utter lies. Not sure if memories don't serve them well or they just like to make up stuff to make it sound better for them. lol.
