Underage Drinking
| Mon, 02-18-2013 - 8:02am |
We have friends who find nothing wrong with allowing their 16 year olds to drink. They allow them to have beer pong parties with their friends (because they are doing it in their home) and allow them to try different types of wines (In their words "to make them a connoisseur of wine").
We find this unacceptable as if they are doing it at home, you know they are doing it elsewhere and these kids are able to drive now so I can not believe that none of them ever drive home drunk.
What does everyone think of this?

Oh. And I came back to debate. That is the purpose of the board, is it not? You started a debate on a public message board and I took part in the debate.
Which just proves you to be the worst sort of hypocrite. You claim offense that someone used your name without permission, but you KNOW you have no permission to use anyone else's name, and still use it. This whole innane claim that they have to ask you to remove it is just further proof that you're a hypocrite. If you really believed no one should use anyone else's name without permission, you yourself would never use anyone else's name without permission.
And since you've also claimed to be 'done with [person whose name you don't have permission to use]", these further posts using her name and responding to you just make you look.... well ... in a way that does you no favors.

So when you said "I am sure you do garnet but they all lie about eating that crap. Lol" it's your friends that all lie about what they are eating? Okay, so your friends believe in illegal drinking and they lie about what they eat. Interesting group.

It's not slander when it's provably true. And it's provably true.

Well because despite your personal judgements and using your friends, it is an interesting debate. I don't know why you turned it into high school girl drama, that is something you need to ask yourself as it is a pattern. You have clearly had the time to post here, your have started numerous threads, do you think that we can't see them here on ivillage?

I thought you were leaving...and no worries. I have PLENTY of entertainment.
IDK that my posts will disappear though. Since this is the most action the board has seen in months, I bet this thread makes the featured post on the front page! Wouldn't that be something!!!!
I never have, but then again I don't have friends who allow minor children to play beer pong in their house as you do. Read you op and why don't you invite them to defend themselves against your judgements?
