Underage Drinking

We have friends who find nothing wrong with allowing their 16 year olds to drink. They allow them to have beer pong parties with their friends (because they are doing it in their home) and allow them to try different types of wines (In their words "to make them a connoisseur of wine").

We find this unacceptable as if they are doing it at home, you know they are doing it elsewhere and these kids are able to drive now so I can not believe that none of them ever drive home drunk.

What does everyone think of this?

Except for things that are not under my control, my fb page is private.

Is your facebook page private? It seems weird to me that you are so concerned about privacy, yet you have a facebook page with nearly 500 friends. Ironic indeed.

Uh, my kids are in school for 7 1/2 hours a day...and I'm pretty sure you're committing your definition of slander/libel for calling me a bad mom. You might want to take that post down before you get reported for a TOS violation. What does your kids in school have to do with college students? You are on messageboards for 7 1/2 hours at work. Wow.

Do you need to me to explain the double standard in this post?

Goodnight garnet. I have had enough. I wonder if the rest of your family who have "big" jobs have the time to check out total strangers lives. Lol

Hazeleyes, I choose my kids' schools based on which school best meets their educational needs. Not because I think a school is a safe haven from normal kid stuff.

Some have nothing else but a snippet? Dude, you realize you're pretty much incoherent, right? That doesn't even make sense.

And yet...here you are. It is, indeed, ironic.

Can't you just "hear" the irony?
