Underage Drinking

We have friends who find nothing wrong with allowing their 16 year olds to drink. They allow them to have beer pong parties with their friends (because they are doing it in their home) and allow them to try different types of wines (In their words "to make them a connoisseur of wine").

We find this unacceptable as if they are doing it at home, you know they are doing it elsewhere and these kids are able to drive now so I can not believe that none of them ever drive home drunk.

What does everyone think of this?

Uh, didn't you start this debate thread? So much for "not going on these boards anymore." And thank you, but I don't really need your advice on building a quality life. I'm good. If I gave a good rodent's behind about your FB profile, I'd have accepted your friend request, dear. I didn't because I don't.

It kind of makes sense that your life would be boring. Explains a lot. But GarnetBoy isn't slandering you. Slander is oral. She might be engaging in libel, if she had written anything untrue of distorted in order to defame you. But, well, she hasn't.

At first I agreed with garnet about irony, but the more that I think about it...it's karma.

And yet...here you are. It is, indeed, ironic.

I am more perplexed that you are interested in a total strangers life who you have no reason to be who you have barely ever spoken to. I would suggest spending some time with families, getting some IRL friends, job, hobbies. This really is such a waste of time. That is why I dont go on these boards anymore. As you can see from my fb as I am sure I am being stalked there too, My plate is full. Maybe my life really is not that boring if I am constantly doing things and am very busy. I dont have time to google peoples lives that I dont really know. Strangers. Weird.

You flatter yourself, Hazel. I did a quick Google search (I remember your name and other information from when YOU tried to FB friend request ME--I have a gift w/names and faces and seldom forget a name or face) and pulled up the information in about 5 seconds.

I'm not stalking you. Until I ran across this thread, you hadn't been on my radar in years...
