my dog and I just walked over and picked up my pay check. A beautiful 72 degrees (but a bit windy).

That is way winter is supposed to be not with that cold, snow and ice they are getting up north.

We have seriously NO snow. In southern Ontario...where we typically have about 3 feet on the ground by now..have no snow. 2.5 hours up north they had 3 feet drop overnight. Here, a few cm's.

Of course I will be kicking myself when now we get dumped on.

2' of snow on the ground, 30ish, and its the first white Christmas is recent memory where I live - kids are happy, so all's good.

I know, I don't quite understand using snow as a Christmas decoration in a place where it never or rarely snows (Florida was my first experience with that). I had a heck of a time buying Christmas towels for my bathroom. Almost all that I saw either had snowflakes or snowmen on them. While we may see some snow flakes every three or four years. having enough snow to actually make a snow man is about a 10 year event. So snow does not really represent Christmas to me.
