I saw The Shawshank Redemption for the first time just a couple years ago, and have re-watched it several times since.  Such a great movie!  I need to read the book (a direct violation of my Always Read The Book First rule) now, but it's way down on my to-read stack.

1. Global warming. Man-made?

Or is it real at all? .....

2. Do you recycle?

not consistently.

3. Butter or margarine?

Butter

4. Cats or dogs?

Cats.  Or, preferably, cat. (singular)

5. Paper or Plastic?

Paper, unless there's torrential rain.

6. PC or Mac?

PC

7. What is your absolute most favorite book to film adaptation?

I usually tend to find that film adaptations don't do justice to the book.  I did enjoy the mini series that was made from The Thorn Birds. And while they were different enough to almost not be considered the same thing, I loved both the book and film versions of Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close.

1. Global warming. Man-made?   I think so.  I think we need more observational science and less computer modeling to find out what is really going on.

2. Do you recycle? To an extent.  The city picks up paper/cardboard, some plastics, glass, aluminum, and food cans.  I don't save up the other plastics to take to the one place in town that does them.   I should

3. Butter or margarine?   Always butter

4. Cats or dogs?   Yes

5. Paper or Plastic?  Both.  I take as many as I can reasonably reuse.

6. PC or Mac?   Mac.  Yeah, I know.

7. What is your absolute most favorite book to film adaptation?  The Jeff Bridges "True Grit."

1.  I believe that man has accelerated the process.

2.  Yes, as much as possible.

3.  Butter.  I think the real stuff is better for you and tastes better.

4.  Both, but I lean more toward dogs.

5.  Neither, canvas reusable.

6.  PC

7.  Stephen King - Shawshank Redemption is the first that comes to mind.

1. Global warming. Man-made? As a coastal dweller, carbon-based fuels undeniably contribute. I don't expect my property to be around in 100+ years, but then, neither will I.

2. Do you recycle? Yes

3. Butter or margarine? Butter.

4. Cats or dogs? 2 of each. I was always a dog person, but the latest cat has won me over.

5. Paper or Plastic? Canvass

6. PC or Mac? PC for work, MAC for play.

7. What is your absolute most favorite book to film adaptation? I have two, I loved the books the Cider House Rules, and To Kill a Mockingbird, but the movies were even better.

1. Global warming. Man-made?

Yes

2. Do you recycle?

Yes

3. Butter or margarine?

I use both.

4. Cats or dogs?

Dog

5. Paper or Plastic?

I take my own reusable ones to the store.  If I do not have them with me then I usually get plastic to give to DD3. The stores in the city that she lives in are not allowed to give out disposible bags and she uses them for her kitty litter.  Around Christmas time I will get a couple of paper ones to use to recycle the wrapping paper.

6. PC or Mac?

PC

7. What is your absolute most favorite book to film adaptation?

1. Man-made, yes.

2. Yes.

3. Butter.  If I'm going to take the fat hit, it's going to be worth it.

4. Both, but I'm allergic to dogs, so I live vicariously through my grand-puppy.

5. Neither.  Canvas.

6. Either or.  I use Macs at work to produce work.  I use a PC at work to log in the work and to record when it's sent on to other departments or back to the client as a proof.  I have an iPhone and an iPad and a big desktop PC that my son built for me that includes the hard drives to the last three laptops I used to have.  I also have an HP netbook.  I like and use them all, although I need my son to upgrade the OS on my netbook because it's an XP.

7. I'd have to go with the Harry Potter series, but I just woke up, so I reserve the right to copy an answer from someone else if they remind me of another adaptation I enjoyed better :)
