I think we need a little fluff :)

1. Have you/Will you decorate(d) for the fall?

2. Have you started any Holiday shopping yet?

3. What is one food (or drink) that you look forward to when the weather gets cooler?

Bonus (it was a discussion at work yesterday and wondered others opinions):
4. If you were able to have an inheritance for your children (or maybe you have already experienced this with your own family), and you were able to live comfortably and was not relying on that money to survive, would you rather spend the money while you are alive and watch your children enjoy the money now or would you rather have it given to them when you died?

No, I don't decorate for the seasons.

2. Have you started any Holiday shopping yet?

LOL...I don't usually do that, either.

Potato soup is so incredibly easy to make from scratch, I can't see purchasing a mix. It's one of my fast and easy weekday meals. You just peel some potatoes (or if they have nice thin skins, you can leave them on), boil them in either water or chicken broth. Add some onions and/or leeks (if you have time saute them first) and celery. Salt and pepper and you're done. I also have one of those puree sticks. I can just use that once the potatoes have cooked, if I want a smooth soup.

Great, good to know. I had a party and the girl left that Creamy Wild Rice Soup. I thought it was good. My dd was the only one who didn't like it.
I got a TON of things and it only cost $17 so I was happy-lol!! Made the Chocolate Chip Toffee Almond Cookies last night with a cup of Butterscotch Kisses Hot Chocolate-YUM!!!-lol!!
She also was able to get me a "Warm the Oven" which they discontinued. That stuff is soooo good with the beer battered bread :)
Yep the Nana's Apple--sooo good!!!

Thanks. I got it because I had a party and it sounded like a good quick meal when I come home from work.

I'm really picky about my potatoes, lol. I can't stand anything but the real deal.

1. Have you/Will you decorate(d) for the fall? I don't decorate for fall.

2. Have you started any Holiday shopping yet? Nope. Halloween comes first and I don't buy fabric for costumes until Oct. Although this question has reminded me that the number of costumes has risen so I need to start now.

3. What is one food (or drink) that you look forward to when the weather gets cooler? Hot tea. And that hot coffee is enjoyed more in the cooler weather.

Mil had set up her will so that the bulk of it was divided among the grandchildren. But they don't get their share until they are 25. Out of the 8 grandchildren, 3 of them get theirs now. The other 5 must wait until they are 25. MIL also gave out things like jewelry before she died. And spent money on the grandkids. If we had the money, we'd give to our kids now instead of waiting until we are dead. I'd love to help out our girls with things like educational debt. But that won't happen unless we win the lottery. The major stumbling block to that is that we don't buy lottery tickets.

Meaning if you had money that you were able to save and knew 100% that you do not and would not need to survive now or the rest of your life would you keep it in an account for after you pass to go to your children or would you use it (some or all) now while you are alive for things for the children (any age)?
