I think we need a little fluff :)
1. Have you/Will you decorate(d) for the fall?
2. Have you started any Holiday shopping yet?
3. What is one food (or drink) that you look forward to when the weather gets cooler?
Bonus (it was a discussion at work yesterday and wondered others opinions):
4. If you were able to have an inheritance for your children (or maybe you have already experienced this with your own family), and you were able to live comfortably and was not relying on that money to survive, would you rather spend the money while you are alive and watch your children enjoy the money now or would you rather have it given to them when you died?

We take more than one type of vacation in our family. We go to the beach every summer, several times. I consider that a vacation even though I cook, clean and do laundry.
We also take sightseeing type of vacations. Most of those have involved staying with family or friends or rented condos, so we were not staying in hotels the entire time. We stayed in a condo when we went to Hawaii and had plenty of time to do some exploring, like taking our kids on a tour of the island, visiting the active volcano, etc. However, we also wanted time to relax as well, sitting on the beach, hanging out by the pool. We had a few meals out, but it did not diminish our vacation at all by cooking and eating many of our meals in. In fact, we were there for Thanksgiving and with contribution from dh's family, we made an entire traditional Thanksgiving meal in the condo. It was actually quite fun. And having a washer/dryer is a lifesaver when you are traveling with young children.
I have no desire while on vacation to "see everything" - that to me seems too stressful.
At home--the kids will eat breakfast on their own
On vacation--we eat together
We eat breakfast together on a regular basis, usually a hot breakfast.
I remember the french fries at McDonalds in England, they were marvelous.
No, not to Key West.
