I think we need a little fluff :)

1. Have you/Will you decorate(d) for the fall?

2. Have you started any Holiday shopping yet?

3. What is one food (or drink) that you look forward to when the weather gets cooler?

Bonus (it was a discussion at work yesterday and wondered others opinions):
4. If you were able to have an inheritance for your children (or maybe you have already experienced this with your own family), and you were able to live comfortably and was not relying on that money to survive, would you rather spend the money while you are alive and watch your children enjoy the money now or would you rather have it given to them when you died?

But then you aren't truly on vacation b/c you are cooking your own meals!

I certainly don't understand why no one else can enjoy vacations differently. Seriously, I mean, who cares this much about how other people vacation??

Of course, I'm also a big believer in a week long stay-cation--despite the fact that I have had the chance to indulge in one for at least the last 4 years.

Yeah, I've only made the mistake of taking the kids once; it was when my oldest was just a toddler. We were watching the sunset at Mallory Square, and a huge yacht full of naked people pulled up, and a few of them were simulating (I hope) some pretty raunchy acts.

Yes, and you had to cook in order to save that money. I don't want to cook, simple as that, as that is not considered a vacation to me.

I also am not interested in renting a beach condo for a vacation.

The one that I have mentioned multiple times before including that previous post; WDW or a cruise to a warm beach climate.

Again, the borders of the hotel, WDW property and the cruise.

Again, the ones that I have mentioned before.

Well, if you ever decide to go, let me know. One of my brother's best friends from high school has lived there for years. I'm sure he'd love to show some out-of-towners around!

I am not familiar at all with how "meal packages" work, but how can you know exactly how much you saved?
Everytime you go to eat, you get a receipt that shows you how much your meal was. We basically added it all up and we spent $900 for the week.

If you hadn't bought the meal package, how do you know what you would have paid at the restaurants where you ate?
See above.

Did you keep a running list of how much each of your meals would have cost if you had paid individually for them?
Yep

Where did I say that I assumed all vacation areas have mass market type of chain restaurants?

Thanks :)
Yeah, we didn't do the boat last time with the kids and we are staying someplace different so we won't have that option.
