I think we need a little fluff :)
1. Have you/Will you decorate(d) for the fall?
2. Have you started any Holiday shopping yet?
3. What is one food (or drink) that you look forward to when the weather gets cooler?
Bonus (it was a discussion at work yesterday and wondered others opinions):
4. If you were able to have an inheritance for your children (or maybe you have already experienced this with your own family), and you were able to live comfortably and was not relying on that money to survive, would you rather spend the money while you are alive and watch your children enjoy the money now or would you rather have it given to them when you died?

No, that is why I have said multiple times, in the same general area. I have specifically stated that there are warm beach climates outside of the area that your travels have generally been. Please see the many previous posts where I have listed more detail on this question.
Do you believe going to different islands is basically the same type of vacation?
<>
I didn't say you couldn't, I just say that most don't and weren't you just arguing the benefits of not leaving the WDW property and how much you enjoy exploring the ship so much so that you barely have time to unpack?
Most don't leave the hotel, property and cruise?
<Why is that? Maybe lack of experience.>>
Agreed. I think so, that is why there seems to be a contradiction between the statement of being an explorer/wanting to show the kids different places but the limited experience of vacations in one area mostly.
I have to disagree. Each place is different.
I've been to warm beach vacations on the east and west coasts of the US, Mexico, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean but if my beach vacations were mostly limited to the Caribbean, I could how someone could view them as limited experiences.
Your children have been to Mexico, the Caribbean and the Mediterrean (at older ages, not babies)?
We are not going for the beaches but mainly for the cruise experience. We can go to a beach 365 days a year if we wanted to.
<Again, different cruise ship, different cruise line, different places, a WHOLE different experience.>>
Oh that's right, to the islands again.
Nope. Kids have never been to the islands before and a new one for us.

The islands are in the same general area for me, but not for you? How does that work? I've been to a handful in the Caribbean, western.
Eastern. Maybe next time we will go to the Western.
Which islands have you been to? They were all the same for you? How so?

And, go back to my actual original statement, the only examples you have given were a tour meal (the excursion) and a chain restaurant (KFC or Senor Frogs). You keep giving the same examples that fall into those two boxes. Which again, is okay, I just not sure what you are disagreeing with me about.
And again, I have been to more than these 2 places.
<< We wanted to go someplace more local but it rained so much that day that it was an outside restaurant and they closed down for a couple of hours to clean up.>>
So there were only two choices?
Nope. Just the 2 we chose that day. I am sure if we went back we would try other places also.

That's great but doesn't example the negative implication on others if they choose to cook meals on vacation or not buy into the "meal plan".
And again, it was about ME. And without the experience of trying something like a meal plan, it is hard to understand it fully. I fully understand cooking as I do it almost everyday and don't want to on vacation-lol!!!
I wasn't sure since the meal plans don't include tips, that comes out of pocket.
Tips were included in my vacation money, just like they are on a cruise or any other place that we have to spend money for food.
I saved $900 on food.
