I think we need a little fluff :)

1. Have you/Will you decorate(d) for the fall?

2. Have you started any Holiday shopping yet?

3. What is one food (or drink) that you look forward to when the weather gets cooler?

Bonus (it was a discussion at work yesterday and wondered others opinions):
4. If you were able to have an inheritance for your children (or maybe you have already experienced this with your own family), and you were able to live comfortably and was not relying on that money to survive, would you rather spend the money while you are alive and watch your children enjoy the money now or would you rather have it given to them when you died?

I don't know about anyone else but many times in those large resorts and on cruises, the food tends to taste about the same in many areas.

<hy financially stupid if you would like to dine in a speciality restaurant?>>

Because I'd be paying double. I pay the resort once, for food I'm not eating, then I pay the restaurant.

<<Local is good but if you tried one of the cruises speciality restaurants, you might have found the kind of food you were looking for.>>

Uh, no.

My cruise ship didn't have that kind of option. There weren't nearly that many restaurants on ship, and there was no meal plan that extended off the ship.

we preferred to go with a condo set up and skip the free dining - I find it boring after a while and the crowds tiresome -- we enjoyed our condo where we had leisurely breakfasts each morning on our own huge screen porch -- we'd eat inexpensively for lunch and bring our own snacks and splurge on ice cream ( our must have) we splurged on two really terrific disneydinners (Boma and the spirit of aloha luaa) and had another awesome dinner at Bahama Breeze near our condo - but enjoyed not being tied to the dining plan and having to each a disney restaurants every day.

I never find trying different foods boring. We had no crowds because the time we went the kids were back at school for most of the country. We also reserve our dinnertime so not much waiting to eat. Snacks are included in the dining plan-lol!!

and I loved having my own cups of coffee in the morning on our porch -- that was heaven

You can still do that at other hotels :)

Porches at hotels? While they might exist, I doubt it is very common.

<<I never find trying different foods boring>>

I think the point is that the foods available with the meal plans are NOT different enough. That's why they are boring.

Cruises are a very expensive thing to try just to see if you like it.
