I think we need a little fluff :)
1. Have you/Will you decorate(d) for the fall?
2. Have you started any Holiday shopping yet?
3. What is one food (or drink) that you look forward to when the weather gets cooler?
Bonus (it was a discussion at work yesterday and wondered others opinions):
4. If you were able to have an inheritance for your children (or maybe you have already experienced this with your own family), and you were able to live comfortably and was not relying on that money to survive, would you rather spend the money while you are alive and watch your children enjoy the money now or would you rather have it given to them when you died?

Again, try to sell me on it. Beyond telling me to go on one. Tell me why you like it so much.
Again, I don't drink, I don't dance, I don't sit in the sun. I don't gamble. I like to be in a room that is wider than my arm spread - unless it is a train.

Hmmm....you should ask what I DON'T like about a cruise-lol!!
There is so much to do, or nothing to do. You meet new people (we still are in contact with a couple we met 4 years ago), you go to more than one place, you try all different foods (you can have as much as you want too), both my dh and I can drink as no designated driver needed-lol!!.
We just love it.
My mother doesn't do any of those things either. However, she and my father have gone on some amazing cruises. One was around Scandinavia and St. Petersburg. Another started in Italy, went to Greece and Turkey. I know they've been on at least one other, but I can't remember where they went. On those cruises, it was mainly a means of transport b/w places without having to constantly get on planes/trains/etc and unpack in various hotels. They had many tours throughout the cities they visited. My parents don't do Caribbean cruises or ones that are more sun/beach oriented. They go to Europe for historical type of cruises. My mom wants to do an Alaskan cruise but so far has not been able to convince my father.
MIL has been on a few cruises too. She did one down the Danube that she absolutely loved. She's going on another one this fall but I can't remember where.
What kind of places? How much time are you alloted in each port - from the time you leave the shipyard to when you have to be back?
For me, specialty restaurants are NOT "Mexican" or Italian. They are Ethiopian, or Brazilian, or Argentinian, Indian, Lebanese, or El Salvadorian...... The kind that haven't been "americanized".
Again, I don't drink- so not having to drive home and being able to get drunk isn't my idea of an asset.
