I think we need a little fluff :)

1. Have you/Will you decorate(d) for the fall?

2. Have you started any Holiday shopping yet?

3. What is one food (or drink) that you look forward to when the weather gets cooler?

Bonus (it was a discussion at work yesterday and wondered others opinions):
4. If you were able to have an inheritance for your children (or maybe you have already experienced this with your own family), and you were able to live comfortably and was not relying on that money to survive, would you rather spend the money while you are alive and watch your children enjoy the money now or would you rather have it given to them when you died?

Well, most cruises go from specified port to specified port and give X amount of time in each. I prefer determine how much time I spend in a city not the cruise ship. I may want to spend an extra day or two in "X" city and completely bypass "Y" city. I may want to go somewhere the cruise ship cannot or don't.

There can be real advantages to this, tho--I like to use cruises as a "Taste of..." I know for SURE, I want a week's vacation dedicated to just Puerto Rico, another one to just Dominica, yet another to just Barbados (for example), maybe a day or two in St. Kitts, and I don't ever have to go back to St. Thomas again. (It was nice enough, it just didn't click with me the way the other islands did) I really liked the Bahamas, but since we just did the cruise line's private island thing there, I don't know that my experience there can really be called 'visiting the Bahamas' in the sense that we visited the other islands.

But I flat out adored San Juan. And Dominica and Barbados had an awesome mix of settlements vs. parkland.

They get the same experience as you, they just don't love it. It shouldn't be too hard to understand that everyone doesn't like the same things.

Yes silly, the chefs put their little fishing poles out first thing in the morning, off the poop deck! Then they can catch fish all the way into the afternoon, to make them up fresh for dinner!

Oh dear, but you said you don't know that you won't like something until you try it!! I guess that only applies to when you are trying to convince others to do things you like??????

80% of Americans don't know Alaska is actually a state, so that must count as going out of the country, eh?

Many people have told me that the Baltic one around Scandinavia and Petersburg is well worth it.

All the years dd was small, my main outings were taking her to see family, and it was definitely NOT a vacation for me, lol. Now I don't need to do that anymore, but dh hates the idea of a vacation, so I am still not going to be getting any vacations.
