I think we need a little fluff :)

1. Have you/Will you decorate(d) for the fall?

2. Have you started any Holiday shopping yet?

3. What is one food (or drink) that you look forward to when the weather gets cooler?

Bonus (it was a discussion at work yesterday and wondered others opinions):
4. If you were able to have an inheritance for your children (or maybe you have already experienced this with your own family), and you were able to live comfortably and was not relying on that money to survive, would you rather spend the money while you are alive and watch your children enjoy the money now or would you rather have it given to them when you died?

I can't see why on earth I would go on a cruise either. I like boats, but other than that, I don't get the attraction. There is one exception, one day I want to cross the Atlantic on the QEII.

Here in Athens we get tons of cruise tourists (and bless their tourist dollars). They are easily recognizable as they come down the street in large herds, all wearing little stickers, being led by a woman with a flag and all going to the same restaurant to eat the same pre-paid (bad) meal. After the meal they get led to the Princess Line-approved shops and then they get herded back to the ship. I suspect that half the time they are not quite sure which country they are in.

Like the time I was talking to one of these nice couples and they asked where I was from.

The response?

"Oh, Denmark! Don't you remember Harold? It is that lovely place with the mermaid. It is the capital of Stockholm! We went there on that nice cruise."

Oh, I am sure they exist. It is basically the cruise equivalent of blitz krieg, they "do" 14 cities in 14 days. I have never understood why people don't just pick a location or maybe 2 and then spend a week to 10 days actually seeing that place/places.

Take me! One of my online friends is a professor in Reykjavik (I swear, I know more professors, considering I have barely 60 college credits to my name ;)

Seriously. Grilled seafood with rice and veggies is barely one step above a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
